Integral Study of the Business Areas to Enhance Them and Implement a Core System
Identification of the functional requirements, based on Generali’s core processes and through contact with Business Areas.
01What did our client need?
Generali aimed to identify the functional requirements of the Business Areas, in order to support the development and future implementation of the new core system for the management of the Life and Non-Life business. And, organizing them by Business Domain, to detail the relevant information for the implementation of insurance the core system, whether it referred to functionalities to be maintained or improvements, among other details.
02How did we help our client?
NTT DATA conducted an analysis of value chain processes and internal documentation to identify requirements. Sessions were held with business areas to gather information on requirements and support the preparation of alignment documents. The process was explained to all stakeholders and the importance of adopting a new software solution was reinforced. Then, the construction of the requirements matrix (deliverable) was carried out for further discussion with the core system provider.
03What was the result?
More than 2,000 requirements were identified in the insurance company and detailed in the requirements matrix. More than 150 sessions were held with the business areas to collect and validate the identified requirements. Good utilization of key information related to Generali's core processes was achieved and used by Generali for the preparation of the implementation of the new core system. Finally, discussion sessions were prepared with the new core system provider.
