An Innovative and Completely Digital Insurer

End-to-end creation from scratch of a digital branch of Zurich insurance company for the Spanish market.


The insurer aimed to create a new digital insurance company to deepen this market and was looking for a partner to co-invest in its spin-off. The goal was to become a pure digital player with state-of-the-art UX and offer innovative services with advanced analytics expertise to turn this new insurance into a monetized asset.



The company selected NTT DATA to deliver customer-centric applications, including brand design, customer journey design, native mobile applications, web applications, enterprise portals and CRM. As well as customer experience optimization analytics.

NTT DATA became a strategic partner for the digital insurer, helping it to expand its innovative insurance proposition: including new functionalities and extending the reach to new geographies.



Only 9 months after the initial talks, this insurer digital branch was a reality, part of the global insurer. In just 6 months, a completely new company was created with end-to-end solutions for its value chain.

This digital insurer is a data-driven company, that uses cutting-edge algorithms and advanced data functions, based on the implementation of digital marketing tools, to capture customer behavior.
