HIGHLIGHT /
27 awards across 9 categories honored the best of 272 entries from 146 institutions in 49 countries—celebrating 10 years of global innovation at the 2025 Qorus NTT DATA Awards.

Qorus, a global ecosystem for financial innovation founded in 1971, and NTT DATA, a worldwide leader in digital business and IT services, have announced the winners of the 10th annual Innovation in Insurance Awards during a ceremony held in Warsaw. The event marked a milestone in the program’s history, celebrating a decade of recognizing the most forward-thinking initiatives in the insurance sector.

This year’s edition attracted 272 submissions from 146 institutions across 49 countries, reaffirming the awards’ global reach and relevance. The winning projects reflect a sector in transformation, leveraging generative AI, automation, and sustainability to deliver more personalized, efficient, and socially responsible insurance solutions.

“Excited to attend to another insurance event, where we talked about innovation with our friends from Qorus. Today in Warsaw, discussing with many panelists that are having more and more business conversations around the adoption of AI, around embedded insurance and other technological trends that are shaping the future of the insurance industry.”, said Bruno Abril, Head of Global Insurance at NTT DATA Inc.

A Rigorous, Transparent Selection Process

All entries underwent a three-stage evaluation process. After initial compliance screening, shortlisted projects were assessed by over 5,000 insurance professionals based on four criteria: originality, measurable impact, replicability, and maturity. The top-scoring entries advanced to a final round judged by an independent panel of 30 senior executives and academics. Final scores combined jury evaluations and public voting, ensuring both expert insight and community engagement.

With the rapid deployment of emerging technologies and growing macroeconomic volatility, innovation in insurance is more critical than ever” said Bruno Abril, Head of Global Insurance at NTT DATA Inc. “This year’s winners show how insurers are embracing change to deliver real value to customers and society.
